Anxiety can be described as Emotion that is unable to be fully expressed. It gets stuck and causes a variety of unpleasant symptoms, to being completely debilitating.
There are different things that we attribute to anxiety such as, social anxiety, work stress, challenging relationships, money issues, health anxiety, fear of being left behind in life, loneliness, and more.
Anxiety can be a mysterious and insidious thing. Sometimes anxiety shows up due to an obvious event or the anticipation of an event. Sometime it occurs completely out of the blue.
If you have suffered from anxiety then you know all to well the unpleasant symptoms that come along with it. Intrusive thoughts and ruminating. Difficulty falling asleep. Physical symptoms such as, Tightness in the chest, racing heart, holding your breath, excessive sweat. The worsening of these symptoms can even lead to panic attacks.
